Annin dyes its own US flag material. Outdoor flag display requires materials with superior durability & weather-resistance. These treated materials are designed to resist fading during normal use. Large, vivid stars are richly embroidered with ultra-bright polyester thread or, in the case of flags 15'x25' or larger, brilliant white star appliques. Seams are double-needed stitched with premium, extra strength polyester thread, color-matched to stripes with back-stitch reinforcement. Four rows of high strength lock-stitching on the fly ends reduces fraying & extends the flag's life. Sturdy, weather resistant brass grommets provide greater flag security in flags up to 6'x10'. Larger flags feature a roped heading with galvanized thimble.
