Job Title: Customer Support Specialist
Department: Corporate Office, Mohawk, NY
Hours: 9am - 6pm (Monday – Friday) w/ 1 hour lunch from 1-2pm
Supervisor: Customer Service & Purchasing Manager
Pay: $15.50/hr - $17.00/hr based on experience.

As a Customer Support Specialist, you’ll be the first point of contact, assisting customers with everything from placing orders to solving product concerns.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide friendly, solution-focused support via phone, email, fax, and chat
- Assist customers with website navigation, online support, password resets, and account setup
- Perform various support tasks including updating customer contracts, preparing quotes, providing backorder ETAs, and researching products for both customers and sales representatives.
- Use DDMS, Acsellerate, and other tools to manage orders, track backorders, and resolve issues
- Check inventory across our website, vendors, and wholesalers
- Process custom product orders (stamps, trophies, signage, etc.)
- Promote new products and send out marketing materials
- Proactively reach out to potential customers through cold calls to promote products and generate new business
- Coordinate with delivery teams and internal departments like Sales, AR, AP, and Accounting
- Address customer concerns with professionalism and care
- Contribute to continuous improvement through feedback and teamwork
- Utilize tools like OneDrive, Share Drive, Intranet, JumpTrack, and Microsoft Office
- Assist with daily tasks and administrative support to help ensure daily department goals are met
What We’re Looking For:
- 6 months+ of experience in customer service, support, or a similar role
- Excellent communication, organization, multitasking, and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a team-first attitude
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving instincts
- Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing the company with integrity and business-appropriate attire
- A positive attitude and a love for learning
- Strong attention to detail and a solutions-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
- Comfortable using business tools like DDMS and Acsellerate (or ready to learn!)
- Reliable transportation and a commitment to punctuality & attendance
