PAY: $15.00/hr - $16.00/hr depending on experience

Hummel's Office Plus is seeking a motivated Order Processor to join our team to make sure our customers receive their orders quickly and efficiently.
As an Order Processor, you will be responsible for the daily picking and filling of incoming orders in an accurate and timely manner for our customers and placing these orders in the correct “delivery run” that they will be in for the next day. You will be responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and aisles free of any clutter and informing your manager when stock is low.
Additional responsibilities may consist of compiling records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies & equipment, & entering information into the computer to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping or other records. In addition, you will need to review bills of lading for incoming merchandise and customer orders; maintain back-order file & release back orders for shipment; prepare requisitions, orders other documents for purchasing. Order Processors may be asked to assist in unloading trucks, verifying product, and putting away inventory in correct bin location(s); take phone calls to schedule inbound deliveries; handle UPS, DHL & FedEx shipments. Order Processors are responsible for running reports to assist with inventory maintenance, assist other departments as needed & other duties as assigned.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must have the ability to multi-task, and work efficiently independently and make decisions, as well as work with a team. Ability to read and interpret documents such as plans, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers; multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. While performing this job, the employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Must adhere to Hummel’s Office Plus grooming & appearance standards policy.
Forklift training necessary (will train); High School diploma or general education degree (GED); One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
