Job Title: Furniture Install/Delivery Team Laborer
Department: Furniture Warehouse
Hours: 7:30am - 4pm (Monday – Friday) w/ 30-minute lunch (may require some overtime)
Supervisor: Furniture Warehouse Manager
Pay: $15.50/hr - $17.00/hr based on experience.

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Install/Delivery Team Laborer to join our team. This role involves loading/unloading furniture in or out of truck/van, delivering, assembling, and installing products at customer locations. The ideal candidate should be physically capable, have a strong work ethic, and provide excellent customer service.
As an Installer/Delivery Team Laborer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers new office furniture is installed and configured properly, allowing them to operate efficiently. Your attention to detail, technical skills, and customer service-oriented approach will make you an invaluable member of our team consulting with other Furniture Installer(s), warehouse, or customer on furniture to be moved; may collect payment for COD order, etc.; and assist other departments as needed.
Responsibilities:
•Load, transport, and deliver products to customers safely and efficiently.
•Assemble and install office furniture according to company guidelines and customer specifications.
•Ensure all items are delivered in excellent condition and properly set up.
•Interact professionally with customers and address any questions or concerns.
•Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including company vehicles and equipment.
•Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
•Assist in warehouse furniture items when not on deliveries.
•Acquire and have all tools onsite that are required after initial three-months of employment (will discuss in interview).
Qualifications & Skills:
•Reliable transportation to and from work.
•Ability to work flexible days and hours, may require overnight stays for projects/installations. There is a compensation stipend for overnight installations.
•Excellent time management, customer service & communication skills. Interpersonal skills are a plus.
•Ability to work in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
•Must be able to deal well with the public, as this is a very customer-oriented position.
•One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Knowledge of panel systems, ability to work with tools and read and interpret documents such as plans, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
•Adhere to Hummel’s grooming & appearance standards policy.
•Must be able to lift and or move up to 50 lbs., and occasionally lift and or move more than 100 lbs.
