Mohawk, NY-     Hummel’s Office Plus, a locally owned and operated office supply and furniture distributor has announced changes at its executive level.  Effective July 5th, Justin Hummel has replaced Harrison J. “Chip” Hummel III as the Chief Executive Officer at Hummel’s.  Chip has held this position for nearly 35 years.  Additionally, Harrison J. Hummel IV will assume the responsibilities of Chief Operating Officer for the company and Chip will become Chairman of the Board.  In assuming his new role as Chairman of the Board, Chip stated, “our team of people is genuinely excited about our transition into our 4^th generation of ownership and operation.  We have moved through a succession planning process spanning almost 5 years before making these announcements.  Justin and Harrison are both committed and prepared to take our company to another level.  With this transition, our family’s and organization’s focus will continue to be the customers and communities we serve.”
